John is a Licensed professional electrical engineer (PE) in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Arizona. Certified photovoltaic installation professional, North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). EPA Certified Refrigeration Technician. 35 years experience working in energy industry.

Raised in Boulder, CO, Garrett has always been outdoor & environmentally-minded. He moved to Durango in 2012 and has been with Solar Barn Raising since 2017. Garrett has worked on over 100 projects and has a B.S. in Engineering from Fort Lewis College. When not designing systems, Garrett spends his time skiing and biking.

Originally from Kansas, Casey moved to Colorado 8 years ago to enjoy the mountain offerings of biking and boarding. Casey has a B.S. in Engineering from Fort Lewis College.

After graduating from Sierra Nevada College in Lake Tahoe with a degree in Environmental Sustainability and Outdoor Adventure Leadership in 2014, Kaila’s passion continues to revolve around adventuring and protecting the outdoors through lifestyle, education, and professional development opportunities. Following her time as a residential solar installer at Grid Alternatives, a solar non-profit in Denver, she was hired on by Solar Barn Raising in 2020.
